Waiting on Wednesday (86)

Hey,

This week I'm waiting for...

On the Fence
On the Fence by Kasie West
Release Date:
July 1, 2014
She's a tomboy. He's the boy next door…

Charlie Reynolds can outrun, outscore, and outwit every boy she knows. But when it comes to being a girl, Charlie doesn't know the first thing about anything. So when she starts working at a chichi boutique to pay off a speeding ticket, she finds herself in a strange new world. To cope with the stress of her new reality, Charlie takes to spending nights chatting with her neighbor Braden through the fence between their yards. As she grows to depend on their nightly Fence Chats, she realizes she's got a bigger problem than speeding tickets-she's falling for Braden. She knows what it means to go for the win, but if spilling her secret means losing him for good, the stakes just got too high.

Gah, I ADORED Kasie's The Distance Between Us. It was super cute with plenty of laugh out loud moments. This novel sounds just as good! I love contemporaries so I'm obviously not going to avoid this one!
Open Road Summer
Open Road Summer by Emery Lord
Release Date: April 15, 2014
After breaking up with her bad-news boyfriend, Reagan O’Neill is ready to leave her rebellious ways behind. . . and her best friend, country superstar Lilah Montgomery, is nursing a broken heart of her own. Fortunately, Lilah’s 24-city tour is about to kick off, offering a perfect opportunity for a girls-only summer of break-up ballads and healing hearts. But when Matt Finch joins the tour as its opening act, his boy-next-door charm proves difficult for Reagan to resist, despite her vow to live a drama-free existence. This summer, Reagan and Lilah will navigate the ups and downs of fame and friendship as they come to see that giving your heart to the right person is always a risk worth taking. A fresh new voice in contemporary romance, Emery Lord’s gorgeous writing hits all the right notes.

It's about time that I read another road-trip romance! It's been so long since "In Honor" and "Amy and Roger's Epic Detour". I need this. I NEED! It sounds super light and fluffy... well apart from all the breakups, but apart from that... CUTE!

No joke guys, I am in love with the contemporary genre. I just love the romance element in books, it's so... addictive and absolutely thrilling!!

Leave a link to your WoW post in the comments below so I can check it out!

Have a good week,
Sam :D
