Catch Up

I have a lot to tell you all about! I'm sorry I haven't posted anything overly interesting, I've been having problems with posting on Blogger. For now, I am here! And I have a lot of news to tell you all about: Winners, books, giveaways, etc.

Winner of my 300 Twitter Follower Giveaway
Originally, there was only going to be 1 winner but I reached 350 and decided to add another winner! I've JUST sent the e-mails out! So check your inbox if your name is Penelope or Anna! Thank you so much for participating!

I've got a few amazing books to tell you about! I received Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout from the amazing Jena at Shortie Says! I love it! Thank you so much!

Obsidian (Lux, #1)
Damn, Daemon is so hot. The girl? Eh. She looks okay. Many of my friends have said that she doesn't deserve to stand next to such a god. ;)

There are new covers for the Lux series! Have you seen them?
Obsidian (Lux, #1)
I personally think that Daemon looks so much better on the other cover!

Onyx (Lux, #2)
Hmmmm, I love the colours but....the girl is just.....I don't know...maybe...not as pretty asI would have hoped.

You know what the most fustrating thing is? In the book Obsidian, it says that Onyx is to be released in March, but I heard that it got delayed to May, and I just check Jennifer's website and it turns out that Onyx isn't releasing until AUGUST! AUGUST! I SHALL DIE! I NEED DAEMON! WHAT AM I GOING TO DO WITHOUT HIM FOR 5 MONTHS?! D:

I'm sure you all feel the same! Anyway, watch out for my review! :D Guess what I bought?

Twenty Boy Summer
"Don’t worry, Anna. I’ll tell her, okay? Just let me think about the best way to do it."
"Promise me? Promise you won’t say anything?"
"Don’t worry.” I laughed. “It’s our secret, right?"

According to Anna’s best friend, Frankie, twenty days in Zanzibar Bay is the perfect opportunity to have a summer fling, and if they meet one boy every day, there’s a pretty good chance Anna will find her first summer romance. Anna lightheartedly agrees to the game, but there’s something she hasn’t told Frankie–she’s already had her romance, and it was with Frankie’s older brother, Matt, just before his tragic death one year ago.

TWENTY BOY SUMMER explores what it truly means to love someone, what it means to grieve, and ultimately, how to make the most of every beautiful moment life has to offer.

It sounds AMAZING! And guess what? It's AMAZING! I was reading it last night and said to myself: Okay, Sam. Only read half of this book and read the other half later. Take it slooow. Ergh, you know what happened? I ended up reading 3 quarters of it! Sniffle, I will finish it tonight! I have been crying since page 10, I couldn't stop.

Check out my current giveaways on the right sidebar!

Thanks so much for reading this long and partially interesting post!
Sam :)

  1. Argh I've seen you all enthusiastic over Obsidian at GR, and I'm debating whether I want to read it now or not. Because some people say it's like Twilight (I don't like Twilight)? :( Tell me it's not, because Daemon totally sounds super hot. *_*

    1. It's really funny! Is it like Twilight? Hmmm, maybe a little bit I guess. You know, there's the whole: Boy tells girl to stay away, sorta thing. But beleive me when I say it's a lot better than Twilight! And YES! Daemon is SO DAMN GORGEOUS! You will love him. ;)
