My review of Switched

14/01/12 - Switched (Switched #1) by Amanda Hocking - Released 5th January 2012

An exciting and fun adventure, with a touch of forbidden romance.

Switched (Trylle Trilogy, #1)
When Wendy Everly was six-years-old, her mother was convinced she was a monster and tried to kill her. It isn't until eleven years later that Wendy finds out her mother might've been telling the truth.

With the help of Finn Holmes, Wendy finds herself in a world she never knew existed - and it's one she's not sure if she wants to be a part of.

When I saw it in the book shop I was curious, I'd never heard of Amanda Hocking but once I read the blurb I just had to get it. I'm so glad I did get it because it was just so freakingly amazing!

I fell in love with Finn, ahhhhh, Finn, the boy who lights up my world. Or as One Direction might sing:

"Baby you light up my world like no body else, the way that you flip your hair gets me overwhelmed, but when you smile at the ground it ain't hard to tell; you don't know oh oh, YOU DON'T KNOW YOUR BEAUTIFUL!"

I found Wendy an interesting character to read about. I think she is a very unique and fun person. I can't wait to find out what's in store for her in Torn.

Anyway, let's talk about Finn. He is a gentleman, with a big heart and a gorgeous personality. He is a Tracker (You want to know what one is? Read the book). He has feelings that he can't express because of who and what he is. He is strong and confident, a beautiful and loving boy.

If you enjoy fairytales with a twist, this is definitely your book! TROLLS. Come on! Trolls! No, not little things with long pink hair. A different kind of Trolls! So read it. Love it. Get your book signed ;).

I rate this book:

  11. This is a series that I have stayed away from thus far. I have heard so many not great things about it, but I admit that my curiosity is peaked by it. I think that one day I might try it, and see what I think about it on my own
