This week I'm waiting for...
Release Date: May 6, 2014
The Pre-Sloane Emily didn't go to parties, she barely talked to guys, she didn't do anything crazy. Enter Sloane, social tornado and the best kind of best friend—the one who yanks you out of your shell. But right before what should have been an epic summer, Sloane just... disappears. No note. No calls. No texts. No Sloane. There’s just a random to-do list. On it, thirteen Sloane-selected-definitely-bizarre-tasks that Emily would never try... unless they could lead back to her best friend. Apple Picking at Night? Ok, easy enough.Dance until Dawn? Sure. Why not? Kiss a Stranger? Wait... what?
Getting through Sloane’s list would mean a lot of firsts. But Emily has this whole unexpected summer ahead of her, and the help of Frank Porter (totally unexpected) to check things off. Who knows what she’ll find?
Go Skinny Dipping? Um...
I quite like Morgan Matson's writing style and I enjoyed Amy & Roger's Epic Detour so I will definitely be picking this up. After all, I am a contemporary junkie.
**I am sorry for displaying Hitler. The GIF simply reflects my reaction**
Have a good week,
I've heard a lot about this one, and it sounds intriguing. Don't know if it's my kind of book but after reviews start pouring in I'll check those out and see if I'll pick this up :)ReplyDelete
Wow I've never seen a Hitler Gif. That gesture reminds me of the one Chris Colfer did during the pilot of episode of Glee. Erm anyway.... this book sounds totally cute and like one I could read even though it is in a genre I tend to avoid. My WoWReplyDelete
Hmmm, I have not read any books by Morgan Matson! I'm usually nt much of a contemporary person. But hey, they're eating ice cream, I'm cool with that :DReplyDelete
Check out my WoW post!
So so excited for this one! Second Chance Summer tore me apart <3ReplyDelete
