This week I'm waiting for...
Release Date: May, 2013
With power comes enemies. Lots of them.
Hunter Garrity just wants to be left alone. He’s learned the hard way that his unusual abilities come at a price. And he can’t seem to afford any allies.
He’s up to his neck in hostiles. His grandfather, spoiling for a fight. The Merrick brothers, who think he ratted them out. Calla, the scheming psycho who wants to use him as bait.
Then there’s Kate Sullivan, the new girl at school. She’s not hostile. She’s bold. Funny. Hot. But she’s got an agenda, too.
With supposedly secret powers rippling to the surface everywhere around him, Hunter knows something ugly is about to go down. But finding out what means he’ll have to find someone he can trust…

I've heard LOADS of stunning things about this series and I am yet to start it! I know... BOO SAM! BOOOOOOO! But I am buying Storm ASAP because I am desperate to find out about these hot boys and their powers.
I would really appreciate it if you leave a comment telling me whether you've read and loved/hated this series so far. I would love to know what you all think about it.
Leave a link to your WoW post and I'll check it out!
Have a great week,
Sam :D
I need to read this series eventually. I had plans to read the first book but then I never got around to buying and now here we are at Book 3 eep.
ReplyDeleteStop by my WoW?
I don't think you should start with Fearless-- although I admit that's one I haven't read yet. Here's a post I did on the series a while ago:

To be honest, Brigid is a blog friend of mine, and I really love her pacing and her writing style, but I loathe several of her characters. (In some ways that's good, though, because it shows how real she can make them.)
I recommend that you begin the series by reading Storm and then Spark. Then go back and catch the prequel (Elemental) and the side-novella about one of the supporting characters, Fearless. I read Elemental first and found it confusing. I think it would make much more sense after one has read Storm.
Spark was definitely my favorite so far.
I love this series! I wasn't really sure what to expect when I first picked up Storm but I was pleasantly surprised.
ReplyDeleteMy WOW
This series is amazing, you must pick it up Sam! You can either start with Storm which is action packed and full of these hot boys (favorite are the brothers!) or you can start with Elemental which is the prequel about the oldest brother and his background.
ReplyDeleteI read Elemental first when it came out cause I couldn't wait to dive into Brigid Kemmerer's world and it was....hot! http://www.paranormalsisters.blogspot.com/2012/04/reviewelemental.html haha
But really, you must pick it up! http://www.paranormalsisters.blogspot.com/2012/07/review-storm.html Also, I cannot wait for this one either *squeal*
Another series I have not started yet and need to. The first book is on my Christmas list, so here is to hoping!
ReplyDeleteMust read this series. I really must read this series, like asap. So many people love it so much, that I just don't think I can go wrong with it!
ReplyDeleteHaven't yet read this series, but am trying to get my hands on storm as well!!
