It's a tough habit to break for me... Great post and loved your quick copy painting of Incarnate. I am not nearly as bad as I used to be. Even though I may dislike a cover or even hate it, I will still pick it up. Used to, not so much. Now I am much more open minded about covers. I still say "what the heck is that all about" a lot. I tend to really like the more simplistic covers. And my favorite covers are the ones that fit the story in the pages. Not just a person on the cover. I REALLY hate the person on the cover that in no way matches the person in the story. Drives me nuts. And I am with you about the Bloodlines series. UGH. Especially the new one. Dude looks like he is in his 30's. And she looks..... awkward. Love the series though!Jaime Lesterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11102596597333629396noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7144571588872479498.post-82858690352084451392013-04-27T22:43:14.883+01:002013-04-27T22:43:14.883+01:00I definitely judge a book by its cover. I know it's really bad that I do that but I guess, it's the same for when you meet someone and you judge them by what they look like and what they're wearing before they even open their mouth! And the thing is, that it's instinctive, everyone does it and if you try and deny it - you're probably lying!!

A really good book with a simple cover is Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli. It's bright pink all over, with a star and stick figure girl in white. :) It's also a really good book, make me think a lot about me (who tries not to follow the crowd) and peer pressure at school, and in life in general. Also, there are some beautiful quotes in it! I really recommend it.

~Hannah xxAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13136464878236829946noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7144571588872479498.post-27927125517900640442013-04-27T15:19:46.573+01:002013-04-27T15:19:46.573+01:00I think its only natural to judge a book by its co...I think its only natural to judge a book by its cover. I mean its the first thing you see it should be beautiful not boring. A bad cover can sour me on a book real quick. Whereas a good cover builds excitement for me.
